Updated on 11/29/17! Hi everyone! Since Christmas is just around the corner, I just wanted to share a little of my holiday favorites! Christmas is my favorite holiday of the year, for many reasons. My family and I have many long-standing traditions. A group of ladies on my moms side of the family gets together roughly three weeks before Christmas and makes about 100 dozen of cookies to enjoy over the holiday season! We love cookies! This tradition has been going on for about 12 years! So fun! Another tradition my family has is getting in the car and drving around to see Chirstmas lights. Sometimes we find a park with lights and othertimes we just drive around neighborhoods. My bucketlist of things to do is large! One of the things on my bucketlist is to go to Dinsey World during Christmas time. I love Disney World and I love Christmas, so what could be better? Hi all! It is hard to believe the October has already come and gone! So far the school year is going great! We are having a lot of fun in the classroom and learning a lot, too! The students have been working hard and we cannot ask for anything more than that. I just wanted to let you know that in the beginning of December I will be teaching for the second time in Miss DiIanni's classroom. My first experience was great and I am excited for this next experience! I will share more about this when it gets closer to that time!

My name is Miss Gatchel and I am currently a senior at Youngstown State University where I am studying Early Childhood Education. I will be participating in Ms. DiIanni’s classroom as a pre-service teacher during my final year at YSU! I am looking forward to meeting each and every one of you, but first let me tell you a bit about myself! In my spare time I enjoy biking, shopping, and scrapbooking. Throughout the year I give softball lessons and in the spring, I coach high school softball. I also love spending time with my friends and traveling with my family. My favorite season is fall. I am a sports fanatic, and a big Pittsburg fan! Go Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates! I am looking forward to a school year full of fun and learning!
